About Anisa Hans

Anisa Hans began her career with the Los Angeles County Auditor-Controller, where she gained the experience necessary to obtain her CIA. At the County, she audited various departments including the Registrar-Recorder, Children and Family Services, Sherriff, and Child Support Services. Being a County auditor required most of her time to be in the field, which Anisa developed a passion for and has carried over the concept of “field time” into her own practice.

​Anisa later moved to the non-profit sector with an organization focused on education. Working as a “Fiscal Coach”, she collaborated and trained her assigned preschool providers in the areas of financial reporting and recordkeeping. This included

training, workshops and distribution of educational materials. She spearheaded a QuickBooks reporting project for approximately 120 providers to implement into

their operations, which was the catalyst for Anisa starting her own accounting firm to provide high-quality, “out of the box” services to small businesses.

In 2010, Anisa went out on her own; several preschools from her previous job were her very first clients – and remain with her today. Based out of Glendora, CA, Anisa owns and operates Accounting Superheroes with a vigor and enthusiasm that makes each client feel empowered towards their own financial success as a small business owner. Embracing the turn towards technology the accounting industry began about 5 years ago, Anisa uses several cloud-based platforms in her firm, and services clients in northern and southern California, Colorado and Texas.

Anisa has her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is a Certified Internal Auditor. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and holds professional memberships with the Institute of Internal Auditors and California Society of Enrolled Agents.

 

When not wearing her superhero cape, Anisa is a committed volunteer for Meals on Wheels Claremont. She enjoys hiking, yoga, reading and travel. She has a beautiful family with her true love, two children and other family members of the canine, feline, aquatic and tortoise variety.
